ASK Cubby- You Write In, I Go On Vacation

“Video

Hello I have a arrma raider xl and I would like to know if I can send videos running to 2s and 3s to see if it qualifies to put it on your website. The tests I have done are speed.

Please, when you have an opportunity, let me know.

GP”

Cubby- Hey now GP, what’s up? Thanks for writing in, please shoot us your snail mail for one of our sticker packs.

Can you submit videos to us? Absolutely. We never turn away awesome videos. However, it is gonna have to be pretty epic to make the front page. But ya, that goes for everyone out there, if you have a video that someone else hasn’t already done 500 times, and you want thousands upon thousands of hobbyists to actually SEE it, shoot it us. We aren’t gonna steal it (there are plenty of other people out there doing that), but we will post it if it kicks bootie.

By the way, the last time I drove our XL sized Raider was a couple of weeks ago. I don’t think I stated it strongly enough in our review, the extra size of the XL is soooo awesome for bashing. I have always been a 1/10th 2wd buggy guy, like since the 80’s, but they just don’t work well in a bashing environment. However, the ARRMA Raider XL is just enough bigger to make it a really good bashing machine. Where is our XL Raider at now? I feel like getting in some more trigger time….

“Rc cage

Hi guys – I’m wondering where I could get a cage like this one? Please see pic attached

Thanks,
Frazer M.

Cubby- Yo yo yo Frazier, thanks for taking the time out of your busy day to write in to us.

That is a pretty gnarly looking rig isn’t it? Ya, we shot that pic at a G6 event here in Missouri a few years ago.

I am not a hardcore crawler guy, therefore I showed the pic to Iron Mikeee, who is getting himself deeper and deeper into the scale scene with each passing day. Mikeee told me he thought that particular cage was custom. However, we have a lot of readers out there, so perhaps one of you will chime in and let ol’ Frazier know if it’s custom, or if it’s a cage that can be found and bought.

So there ya go, basically a blow off answer. Ya, I think I’ve been watching too much Pawn Stars.

That’s right folks, this edition of ASK Cubby is a wrap! Wanna talk shop? Do you have a burning question? Do you feel wronged and think the entire world needs to hear about it? Shoot me an email- thecubreportrc at gmail dot com.
