Average Joe’s Raceway – Wrench Invasion with Video

If that video does not want to make you get out and bash, I don’t know what will! Being the Wrench for Big Squid, I don’t get to go out to often. So when Brian asked me to go check out a local track, I jumped on it. I headed out to Average Joe’s Raceway in Lombard, Il. on Sunday to check out some racing. The track is a invite only place. Joe opened his backyard track to anyone wanting to come out and have fun with the hobby. It’s a fun short track with plans on expanding. On my trip I met a lot of very nice guys and the action on the track was a blast. Run what ya brung and have a good time is the way it goes. Joe and his dad are 2 of the most down to Earth guys you will meet. Everyone is more then happy to help with teaching and repairs. There are no trophies, just bragging rights.
