Brush Up on Your Soldering Basics with Help from Element RC [Video]

If you’re new to the hobby or mainly buy ready-to-run (RTR) vehicles, there’s a good chance that you’re a stranger to soldering. Having been in that position myself, it can be an intimidating task to conquer, but with a little practice, you can become pro-level in no time.

When I was learning to solder R/C components for the first time, I relied (heavily) on instructional videos and tutorials. In their most recent Trail Tip Tuesday video, the folks at Element RC have decided to help folks brush up on their soldering basics with this quick, informative video.

Not only does Element RC outline the basic tools that you need to solder, but they provide an excellent, step-by-step view of the entire soldering process. It’s a great video that I’m sure I’ll refer to in the future.
