Every now and then we will start to get whispers and rumors of possible products coming, and sometimes they are way off, or sometimes they are dead on. Like when we posted that Traxxas was working on a Drag Timing Tree system and vehicle more than a month before the Funny Car was announced. Well this time around we [...]
Saw this pic of the Traxxas Funny Car with a bunch of the drivers for an upcoming race today and thought I’d post it up. The vehicles are shipping soon for those waiting to get some drag racing action in! Visit the Traxxas site for a few more details.
The Traxxas 1/16 Grave Digger ReviewThe moment we saw the Traxxas 1/16 Grave Digger, our gut reaction was that this might be pretty cool. A mini monster truck based on the 1/16 scale E-Revo platform would be fun to bash with. Then we read further and saw that it was shipping as a 2wd vehicle, and you could ‘upgrade’ to [...]
Looks like Traxxas has released a few more details about their DTS-1 Drag Timing System. Dual beam lasers will allow pre-stage and staging, along with two more lasers for the speed trap and finish. It’s interesting that they are using lasers when all the companies that have been making RC timing systems usually do not. They normally use a infrared [...]
Ok.. lets try this again! As we tried to announce over the weekend, Traxxas is releasing a line of NHRA Funny Cars! If you remember back in January we scooped the possibility that Traxxas was working on a Drag Racing System. Well that rumor has come true! You can see from the comparison shot next to the Traxxas 4-Tec that [...]
The Traxxas EZ-Peak Charger ReviewWe recently had a chance to put the Traxxas EZ-Peak Plus Lipo Charger to the test. We also had a chance to test the Traxxas 2 & 3 Cell Lipo Charger. If you are looking for a LiPo Charger, or just a Traxxas Fan who feels more comfortable when everything you use is from the same [...]
It’s a promotional video put out by Traxxas talking about safety and things like that. At the end they slam the Traxxas XO-1 into a car door and it just disintegrates! We should of did this to ours before we gave it away! LOL.
Looks like Traxxas has a new spokesperson, and her name is Keli Snyder. Keli has had a good amount of Motorsport experience, and hopefully will make a great addition to the Traxxas team. She is easy on the eyes for sure! Don’t take our word for it, video and some previous *cough bikini cough* ‘photo work’ after the break, so [...]
We got our hands on the new Traxxas 1/16 scale Grave Digger, but I’m not sure if this is a unboxing or a un-packing. Our new Grave Digger was just begging to be let out of it’s home when it arrived. The truck with the radio barely fits, to the point of it’s more a releasing. The truck sticks it’s [...]
New from Traxxas is this Constant Velocity Center Shaft kit for all 1/16 scale Traxxas Vehicles. The new steel CVD’s are designed for big horse power and torque that brushless motors love to dish out. The cross pins are held in with o-rings, so no need to worry about loosing them somewhere. This is a direct hop-up kit from Traxxas [...]
The Traxxas XO-1 ReviewWe finally got our hands on the Traxxas XO-1, easily one of the most talked about car releases of the year. This was Traxxas’s answer for a Supercar. There was controversy from the beginning, and there was also a lot of praise. This is probably the most anticipated and honest reviews of the Traxxas XO-1 you [...]
In case you haven’t heard, we are currently reviewing the Traxxas XO-1. And when we are done, we are going to be giving it away! A few people didn’t believe we would test it like we test our other vehicles, so why not post up a couple of pics. These are from our recent visit to the skatepark. #gallery-7 { margin: [...]
That’s right, we are giving away our Traxxas XO-1!!! Very soon we will be done with our Traxxas XO-1 Review, and we figure why not give it away to one of our fans! This contest is a little different than our others so please read all the rules, and make sure you do all the steps! How to Enter: 3 [...]
A few days ago Cubby mentioned that we have been putting the Traxxas XO-1 Super car through our standard insane testing, and he even mentioned that we jumped it. Shortly after we got a a few emails saying ‘why would you jump the XO-1?!?! You didn’t really jump it did you??’ Well…It’s a Traxxas vehicle… they are supposed to be ready [...]
We broke the news LAST WEEK about the upcoming Traxxas 1/16th scale Monster Jam Grave Digger. But we now have some official details. It’s going to be a 2WD vehicle (the first 1/16th scale 2wd from Traxxas?) , a AM radio, 12T 550 motor with fully waterproof electronics, and a backpack! It starts shipping February 15th, 2012! Hit the Traxxas [...]
