New from Traxxas is the 1/16th scale Grave Digger! We spotted it here at the Nuremberg Toy Fair. Looks like it’s going to ship brushed with the Titan 12T, but knowing Traxxas, a VXL version is probably not far behind. You can see it will have the green highlight parts just like it’s big brother. Catch all of our fair [...]

File this under the rumor mill, but we have been hearing word that Traxxas may be working on releasing a Drag Race Tree and Timing system that would use their Traxxas App for keeping track of the data. While this has not been officially confirmed, it’s not that far of a stretch with their recent Courtney Force Sponsorship Deal. [...]
Wow.. Traxxas, the ‘Fastest Name in Radio Control’ (turn off Peter V. Voice) now appears to be a major sponsor of Courtney Force and her NHRA Funny Car! The PR says she is making her pro debut in her Traxxas Ford Mustang. Good luck to all involved! So when Traxxas announced their RC supercar the XO-1, it caused all sorts of waves. Obviously it was one of the most anticipated RC announcements, but a lot of people felt very strongly about the car in general. It really turned into a ‘love it’ or ‘hate it’ sort of thing. We discussed it a lot around the office obviously, [...]
my thoughts on the xo-1 I agree with cubby…the XO-1 is not about selling large volume and making money….it’s to make a statement! It’s like the Ferrari of R/C. Not all of us is going to be able to afford one, but somewhere in all of us, we all want one 🙂 Sxxxx Cubby– Just fyi for our readers, Sxxxx is a west coast [...]
Way back in 2009 we posted what we thought was going to be the future for Futaba. You can click that link to see the original post. Yea we were doing it as sort of a gag, but with the way Futaba radios were evolving, it didn’t seem like too far of a stretch. Now, almost 2+ years later, what’s [...]
Just in case you haven’t caught the videos of the Traxxas XO-1 in action, we wanted to make sure they do not get missed! The first XO-1 video is their initial showing, with it racing around the track and looking pretty cool. The second video after the break shows off the new TQi radio and how it works with the [...]
Adding to our Traxxas XO-1 Coverage we got to ask Peter V. over at Traxxas a few questions about the car. Here are his responses. Big Squid: Some of the video shots look like it has lights. Will there be a light kit available when it ships? Is this later down the road? Peter V. : XO-1 does not currently have [...]
