We broke the news yesterday about Traxxas getting into the battery business. We have a little more info for you as well as a new charger from them! It sounds like Traxxas is going to have all their bases covered, with everything from 2s 1600mah Lipo’s for their 1/16th scale vehicles, all the way up to a monster 3s [...]
We just heard that Traxxas has a new Lipo battery of their own coming out! WHAT?! I have to admit, I didn’t see that coming, but it makes complete sense. Traxxas has been shipping TONS of batteries with their RTR vehicles now, but a lot of people just put them to the side and toss in a Lipo. Seems like [...]
In the beginning of May, Brian posted his review on the Traxxas Stampede 4×4. We actually have a couple of these trucks floating around the office and they really are a great vehicle. However, Brian made mention of a major design flaw (aesthetics wise) in his review that seems to be a common theme; the way the body [...]
Are you looking for a Ken Block Gymkhana Fiesta but don’t think you can handle the brushless VXL setup? Maybe you’re just opposed to all brushless motors? Maybe you have another reason I haven’t noted here? Whatever the case may be, Traxxas has you covered. The 1/16 scale version of Ken Block’s Ford Fiesta is now [...]
Jenson Button put in one of the most epic drives in motor-sports yesterday, surviving a marathon rain delayed race to take the win in Montreal at the Canadian F1 Grand Prix. Thus far the 2011 F1 season has been a bore, but last weekends Canadian GP more than made up for the lack of pizzazz of the earlier races. [...]
The economy may be hurting a lot of people out there right now, but not Traxxas. They’re still raking in the dough. So much so, that they’ll soon be packing their bags and moving into a brand new facility in McKinney, TX. The huge new campus will cover 16 acres (which is about 700,000 square ft, or slightly larger than [...]

I just purchased a Slash 4×4 ,sand tires and a 3lipo 11.1 to take to the beach and have some fun. I was driving it around and started to show off and gave it full throttle. It was doing a wheelie for about 100 yds then I let off the throttle. Started to drive the car back and it [...]
Hello I noticed this system won your approval and was wondering if you are aware of the massive rip-off of people around the world this system and There Spartan Boat have caused. Every person who bought the boat needed 300.00 dollars worth of new electronics to run it. Some the first day some made it a month or more, [...]
This weekend, May 28th and 29th 2011, the Traxxas TORC Series kicks off at Red Bud MX track in Buchanan Michigan! These events last year were awesome! Great racing, lots of RC, and tons of action! This weekend’s event will be broadcast LIVE ONLINE! If you are in the area of one of these events, I highly recommend you try [...]
I got $500 from my Uncle as a graduation present and I am thinking about spending it on a RedCat Avalanche XP. What have you heard about that truck? Kevin C. Fort Worth, Texas Cubby– I think you are crazy if you spend five large of grad money on a Redcat, or any brand of car for that matter. First off- it’s [...]
Just how fantastic was the full scale racing over the weekend? Pretty damn epic. Thankfully F1 was back in action, and the best drivers on the planet got pwn’ed yet again by Red Bull Racings Seb Vettel in Turkey. I’m not a big Vettel fan, so would someone else Please pick up the pace and run with the guy? [...]
Dear Cubby, Who makes the body lowering kit for the Traxxas Stampede 4×4 and where can I buy one? Your truly, Billy D. Cubby– Funny you should ask that question the same week that Brian posted his Pede 4×4 review. I trust you are loving your truck except for its overly lifted body. If it came murdered out in flat black paint you’d [...]
Brian broke this story wide open earlier today, and now it’s official. Traxxas has updated their website to showcase the new 1/16th scale officially licensed Kyle Busch Camping World Race Replica. The truck is built off the tried and true 1/16th scale VXL platform from Traxxas, and will be avaliable in both a brushed and brushless model. [...]
About a year ago we reported on the Traxxas NASCAR Camping World crossover we saw at the Traxxas VIP tent, and today it’s all but official! There are no details or press release but we see here a Kyle Busch NASCAR Camping World Series truck based on the Traxxas 1/16th scale chassis! It’s brushless, and officially licensed. I believe this [...]
