Over at DSM Off-Road they recently announced a 1/24 Shorty 140mm Comp Chassis for the mighty Traxxas TRX-4M scale crawler. The Shorty Comp Chassis is used to convert your TRX-4M into a 140mm wheelbase 1/24th crawler. Here are the highlights-

* Allows the use of 1/24th scale comp bodies
* Chassis rails made from 2mm thick carbon fiber
* Supporting parts made from SLS PA-12 nylon
* Adds extra clearance for greater approach and departure angles
* Much lighter than the stock chassis
* More suspension adjustability than stock
* Increased suspension articulation
* Can be set up with a Droop or Standard style shock setup
* 5 degree angled skid to help slide over obstacles
* Includes DSM’s lay down steering kit
* Provisions for the DSM Rapid Recovery kinetic winch strap
* Does not work with stock TRX-4M body
* Servo winch capable with DSM’s optional servo winch kit
* Includes front bumper and body mounts
