EVERYBODY’S SCALIN’ – HITEC WONDERLAND!

Happy Friday everyone, the crew in the scale shop are in Servo heaven after receiving a shipment from Hitec. And just in time if I may add, with a few current projects getting close to finishing we have been needing some servos.

First up is the Hitec HS-646WP, there is a reason we got four of them. A few weeks ago we posted on the Super Scale 2020 suspension simulation kit, now if you ever pick up one of the Super Scale 2020 kits you will need to get the 4 servo needed to compete the kit. Lucky the servos needed are not going to break the bank the HS-646WP runs for about 45 bucks. The lucky rig to get the Super Scale 2020 Kit is our Traxxas TRX4 Sport that is now a Defender. This should add to its already scale appearance and make it a real head turner at this coming up Ultimate Scale Truck Expo.

Next, we Have is the Hitec D956WP, these servos will be going into our Axial SCX10II Ramcharger and the Axial Wraith 1.9. Even though the Wraith is still rocking its stock servo, after all the abuse the rig has taken, I think it deserves a spa day if you will. The Hitec D956WP has a street price of 129.00 and I cannot wait to see what it can do on the trails.

Last, we have the big dog, the HSB-9381TH Brushless servo. You could put it in a trail rig, but I think you will get the most performance out of the servo if it was installed in something like an Element Gatekeeper or a Axial Capra. Since our Gatekeeper and Capra are in great working order at this moment, I think our new Gmade Buffalo kit will be a good fit. The HSB-9381TH has a steet price of 189.99.

We Would like to give Hitec a massive THANK YOU for sending us over servos and helping get the Squid Rigs in working order. We will have a write up on the servos in the next few weeks so be on the look out for that. Till next week have a great RC filled weekend and Keep Scalin’!
