For Bashers, By Bashers!

EVERYBODY’S SCALIN’ – RC4WD K10 BUILDERS CHAMPIONSHIP!

What’s up everybody! This is the last week to enter the RC4WD K10 Build off. The last day to enter is this Sunday! Three pictures, along with a small running video is required to enter. You can upload your builds on RC4WDs website or click the link. All entries must be a RC4WD K10 body NO conversions, and must be on a RC4WD chassis. Other than that, have at it!

My entry is for the creator’s challenge. The Creator’s challenge is for RC4WD team drivers, and a few other big builders like RC Everyday and so on. Even though I talked a lot of “smack” about RC Everyday during this build off, it was all in fun. I actually used techniques I learned from him on my build. This was my first time doing wet sanding, and I fell in love with how it looks after its done.  I took our Blue RC4WD K10 RTR, tore it down and didn’t look back.

In the past I have tried to do dents, and it has never worked out the way I was hoping it would. This time I went small, but I think it was effective, I heated up a tire tool and pressed it into the tailgate to add to the weathering. Combined with my normal style of weathering this build is now in my top 3 favorite rigs that I have done. Funny thing is during this build off; I used a style of weathering done by RC Everyday. And in turn, he used a style that I tend to do, and that’s Farm Trucks. If you haven’t seen it, you should go check it out, it’s a work of art.

Whatever happens, and whoever wins, I’m happy. I learned a new way to build, and that’s a win in my book. Good luck to everyone who enters. I look forward to seeing some wicked rigs! Till next time, keep scalin’!
