EVERYBODY’S SCALIN’ – SHOP TALK

Hello and welcome to this week’s Everybody’s Scalin’. It has been super busy in the scale shop with multiple projects going on. With that being said, I think its time for a little shop talk.

First up is the Gmade Buffalo, this build was a lot of fun and everything went together smooth. I am immensely proud of how well the transmission went together and the fact that I did not forget a bearing this time helps. The trails were covered in snow for the Buffalos first run but that did not stop the rig from performing well. This weekend is a little warmer and the trails are now visible, we will have the Gmade Buffalo out and about for its final run before the review!

I received some limb risers and a new cargo net for the Traxxas TRX-4 Defender for Christmas and even though it is a small cheap mod I think it has made the rig just that much cooler. Other than the scale accessories for the Defender, I also got the brackets for the Super Scale 2020 realistic suspension printed out from our good buddy Greg Holman. When it’s all finished the Defender should be a great fit for this years Ultimate Scale Truck Expo.

Speaking of USTE 2021, our Tamiya King Hauler build Sponsored by Remote Control Hobbies – Orlando, is in the final stages of paint; I received a picture from the fella that is air brushing it and it looks great. This years USTE is looking to be yet again, the Event of the Year and I hope we get to see you there!

Lastly, is an update on our CEN Racing Dually, once people got their hands on the Dually they haven’t been staying stocked for long. Out of Texas is a scale shop that is starting to make some noise in the scale world. 1:10 Rod Shop is a scale hot rod shop that offers wicked mods for any rig including the CEN Dually. What’s cool is if you want to you can send him your rig to be tricked out in his scale shop just like a real life 1.1 Hot Rod Shop. RCeveryday sent his RC4WD 1987 Xtracab to have some work done and it turned out fantastic. Our CEN Dually is on its way to the 1:10 Rod Shop so be on the look out for that. If you are interested, make sure to check the 1:10 Rod Shop on Facebook and @110rodshop on Instagram!

Well, that will wrap up this weeks Everybody’s Scalin’, have a great weekend and Keep Scalin’!
