EVERYBODY’S SCALIN’- TT4C OPERATION 11 CHARLIE EVENT!

The Operation 11 Charlie event put on by TT4C and hosted by Crawler Canyon RC Park was a huge success from start to finish. When we were asked if we could come to the event, we immediately said yes! Crawler Canyon RC Park is one of our local spots and ran by some very close friends of Big Squid RC, The Klein Family, Chi – Town RC, and Greg Holman our custom fabricator. The Canyon has grown massively in just a matter of a few years. From a being a little spot to crawl in the winter to now having its own onsite hobby shop with pit areas and multiple courses throughout the property, TT4C and Operation 11 Charlie couldn’t have picked a better location to hold the event.

Since we have start working with Operation 11 Charlie, we have heard some amazing stories about how the RC hobby has worked its magic on our wounded worriers. If you ever attend an event and the 11 Charlie crew is there, make sure to stop by their booth and donate what ever you can or let them know how much they are appreciated, it will go a long way. Or you can always jump in some mud to show how much you care, we already had Lucas Banks onboard to join the Squid Billy Mud Club and got $200 raised to see him enter the prestigious club. Then, a few people started saying if we could get it up to $500, I would partake in the sacred ritual. And thanks to the generosity of everyone we ended up raising $516 bucks for the mud jump. I am just happy Crawler Canyon RC Park had a shower on site, lol.

All said and done the whole event raised over $3,000.00 for Operation 11 Charlie, not bad for A 6-hour event if I may say so. If you haven’t checked out our video on the event please do so, we had a blast with all the events during the day and got some cool footage!
