Horizon is warning of counterfeit Spektrum Receivers

Horizon Hobby and Spektrum RC want everybody to know about Chinese vendors offering “Spektrum” receivers at cut-rate prices.  The only problem is these aren’t the real deal.  Horizon says that these counterfeit receivers are made with different components and don’t have the same level of quality control as genuine Spektrum gear.  There’s no tips given on how to ID a counterfeit, but if you bought one from the same place you bought your $50 Rolex, you might have gotten swindled.  As always, buyer beware.
