HPI Savage Flux 2350!

There’s a lot of news coming out of the HPI camp today, but probably the biggest of it all is a new and less expensive version of the Savage Flux!  The new Savage Flux 2350 is still built on the same awesomely awesome Savage X chassis that the Flux HP is built on, and it still shares many of the same great features, and it will still do standing back flips.  The big difference is in the power package.  The Flux 2350 comes with a Flux Q-base ESC and Alphastar 2350 brushless motor to form a system that is built specifically for 4S (2S+2S) LiPo power.  That’s not to say you have to use LiPos, you can still use two 6-cell NiMH packs if that’s all you have.  But considering that HPI says that the Flux 2350 on 4S is FASTER than the Flux HP on 4S, I think you’ll be wanting to bite the bullet and make an investment in those LiPos.

The Savage Flux 2350 comes out of the box RTR with a HPI TF-3 radio system featuring the high torque, metal geared SF-5 servo to handle steering.  MSRP for this moster is going to be $889.00, significantly less than the Flux HP’s $1,149.00 list price.  It should be hitting your local hobby shop’s shelves soon, if it’s not already there.
