Monster Truck Madness – Racing at the Hall Bros Shop in November
One of the most special things about the r/c solid axle monster truck scene is how the full scale motorsport is so closely associated and embedded within the 1/10 scale version. Some of the biggest events of the r/c monster truck calendar take place at the homes of some of the biggest names in the sport. Bigfoot and Grave Digger regularly host r/c events at their shops, and the actual teams are usually involved in some capacity.
Hall Brothers Racing, the long-time Mopar backed team that fields the popular Raminator and Rammunition monster trucks (among others, as well!) is now joining in on the fun and has agreed to open their doors for an event on November 20th.
Hall Bros Crew Member and fellow r/c MT racer Dan “Cheech” Agosh is the head of the event, and he shared some details to pass along to all of you.

There will be full awards and various giveaways thanks to the sponsors. I’m also told this event is going to act as an Open House for the Hall Bros team, and the shop will be open to the general public as well as r/c racers. The full-sized Raminator will be on display and merchandise will be available for sale.
I plan to race at this event, and given how close it is to Chicago, hopefully some of the Chi-town crew will come down and compete (looking at you Jeremy!).
If you’ve never competed at a solid axle r/c monster truck event before, this will be a fantastic one to get your feet wet. Not only can you race, but you will get to see the inner workings of a professional monster truck shop!
