Redcat Revamps the SixtyFour Lowrider with New Colors, Electronics, & More
Four years since its release, Redcat is giving its flagship R/C lowrider a refresh. The SixtyFour “Classic 64 Edition” Chevy Impala Hopping Lowrider not only sports three new color options, but it also has new wheels, tires, servos, and some mechanical tweaks as well.
The most obvious update to the SixtyFour has to be the colors. Two of the color options (orange and light blue) include a white roof and white interior tray, while a third option (blue) keeps the single-color body that has been used in the past.
Another visual tweak to the SixtyFour are its tires and wheels. The Classic 64 rolls on 5.2" whitewall tires and 13" Radial Reverse Lace Wheels for a customized look right out of the box.
Under the body, you’ll find a revamped servo lineup consisting of a REEFS RC 300 Alacritious V2 servo (for hopping) and two 35kg Hexfly Torque Spec servos (height adjustment). The bell crank has also been redesigned for additional adjustability.
Other highlights of the Classic 64 Edition R/C lowrider are black chassis links, and a magnetic body mounting system.
The Redcat SixtyFour “Classic 64 Edition” Lowrider is priced at $499.99 and is available at redcatracing.com.
