Since we first heard about it’s upcoming release, we were eagerly awaiting the arrival of the Thunder Tiger Kaiser Monster Truck. When we got the call asking if we’d like the FIRST ONE before anyone else, I could only hope they didn’t hear the extra excitement in my voice. This truck is truly a beast. We like the body style, [...]
We have actually had a few requests for us to review the latest Losi TEN-SCTE 4WD recently, so it seems like the unboxing should be good timing. This is the new Losi TEN-SCTE Troy Lee Designs RTR 4WD truck. Inside the box was the truck, a DX2E Transmitter with batteries, and a few miscellaneous tools. Personally, I was actually digging [...]
Since their introduction, short course trucks have become a mainstay among the bashing community. Their large size, scale looks, and big bumpers made them a hit at bash spots around the world. One of the biggest and baddest short course trucks to hit the market comes from ARRMA. The Senton BLX is based on an 8th scale chassis and comes [...]
We are just like you guys, when we going bashing with the crew, we like to push the limits. While our review Axial Yeti XL Kit proved to be quite tough, when the going gets extreme (like at the end of the day), every vehicle could use some beefing up. We got with the folks over at TheToyz.com to see what [...]
When we first caught word about RC4WD releasing the 6×6 Beast II Truck Kit, more then a few people were excited! We just got our hands on it, and of course had to post the unboxing pics. It’s always interesting to see how RC4WD is going to package their parts, and this one did not disappoint. Need more details? You [...]

Team Durango made huge news recently when they introduced a new line-up of 8th scalers and a 4wd short course truck. We’ve been lucky enough to lay our hands on the brand new DEX8, Durango’s all new Electric 8th Scale Buggy. The DEX8 has an innovative gear mesh system, an adjustable rear wing with Gurney Flap, as well as a [...]
We got our hands on the new Losi 5IVE Mini WRC Rally Car, and it’s out of the box! This thing is a beast! Slightly bummed they cut the giant hole in the front windshield of such a nice looking body. Would of liked the option of cutting it ourselves to a smaller size, or coming up with a more [...]
Believe it or not, not everyone drives with a pistol style radio, that’s why a lot of people were stoked when Futaba announced the new twin stick 4GRS surface radio. The 4GRS has many of the features of its pistol gripped cousin the 4PLS- telemetry, multi-model memory, and dozens of others, while sporting a similar price point of $279. With [...]
The moment has finally arrived: I got my hands on the SAB Heli Division Goblin 380 helicopter kit. I even have all my electronics already: servos, ESC, motor, battery, and flybarless unit. I cannot wait to start building, but for now see my choices in electronics and take a peek into the contents of this kit in the pictures below: Need more SAB [...]
While the guys are outside thrashing it, I decided to throw up some unboxing pictures for the ARRMA Talion. The Talion is one of the newest products offered by ARRMA and should make for a prime bashing machine. Being an 8th scale truggy, it is quite large, which never hurts when trying to get over big dirt clods or when [...]
Hardcore bashers have always gravitated to certain vehicles- monster trucks, truggies, and 8th scale buggies. While most 8th scale buggies are aimed at the racing crowd, the folks at ARRMA have recently released the Typhon BLX, designed from the ground up for the serious basher. While we are finishing up our full review you can check out our unboxing pictures. As [...]
After the 350QX Fly Away of 2014 (It wasn’t my fault, I swear!), the guys at the office wanted a way to track all of their aircraft so they can recover them with relative ease. My relationship with the developers at FlyTrex was already blossoming, and my plight was quickly solved with a package sent to my door all the [...]
With the Invertix400, Blade 200QX, and Leap 3D inverted flight type quadcopters already on the market, the team over at AerialFreaks wanted me to try out their new Hyper400 3D just to see how theirs stacks up to the competition. Needless to say I got very excited when a few days after our conversation that a quadcopter was sitting on my front porch, sooner than anyone [...]
