THE Cub Report- How Much You Gonna Risk?

Oh yes, here we are, late October. The air is crisper, the leaves are falling, yet we are still outside driving rc cars like we just stole them. Bashing is a good thing, our staff hopes you had a good time over the weekend going huge while getting your bash on.

Hey, it’s trade show week!!! It’s been a while since I’ve been able to say that, but here it is, time for yet another rc trade show here in America! Our demo cars are fully prepped, our booth babes are freshly waxed, in a few days we get to see how many consumers we can get to turn out for the first ever Rocky Mountain Hobby Expo.

The Rocky Mountain show takes place this Saturday and Sunday in Denver, Colorado. It is open to consumers both days and it is a “selling show”, as it will have multiple hobby shops on hand so people can actually purchase products at the venue. BigSquidRC will have a both, although I don’t remember the booth number at the moment, I’m sure you super fans will have no problem locating us. We’ll be giving away free stickers in our booth, plus you can drop by and give us a hard time, or get some pictures taken with our beautiful spokes models. We’ll also be putting on two of our world famous “big air” demos each day, and giving away a truck after each demo. I have a new brushless powered Dromida monster truck sitting on my desk to give away (thanks Nat!), but we’ll have other trucks as well. Oh, and we’ll also have some of the latest and hottest rc bash trucks in our booth. We’ll have the all new Pro-Line PRO-MT 4×4 in the booth for everyone to take a look at, along with the 2018 editions of ARRMA’s Talion and Typhon, as well as other new releases. Seriously, our booth is gonna be cool, so drop by and check it out.

Oh and, Right Here is the link you need for complete details on the show. It has the times and address, everything you need to make it to the convention hall.

If you are a manufacturer, or a hobby shop, or a distributor, booths are still available, and I’m sure at this point they are really on the affordable side. Even if you can’t make it, please consider sending someone out to walk the show to at least get a feel for it in case your company pulls trigger on it next year. Still, if you can’t send someone out to walk the show, we’ll do our best to have a live feed up and running. Like in year’s past, we’ll attempt to get a live feed going on FB live so you can watch the floor traffic by our booth (read- stare at our booth babes all day).

If you are a consumer in the Colorado area, chances are you’ve never had the opportunity to attend an rc trade show before. In that case, we cordially invite you to grab a buddy (or the wife/kids) to come on out and see what all the buzz is about. The Rocky Mountain show will have hobby grade rc booths, model railroading, slot cars, rc planes/boats, as well as scale model kits. With this being the first year, attendance most likely won’t be crazy on the consumer or manufacturer side, but we hope you attend to show the industry that you support your favorite hobby!

So I’ve got to start packing, hopefully for a great weekend in the ever so beautiful state of Colorado, and hopefully having fun with some of YOU guys! Until next week, support your local hobby shops and bash spots!
