The Danchee RidgeRunner 4-Wheel Steer 1/10 R/C Crawler from Redcat
Redcat is wrapping up 2023 with an interesting release from its Danchee brand. While Redcat has a reputation for budget-friendly R/C machines, their Danchee brand is even friendlier to hobbyist’s wallets.
If you (or someone you know) have wanted to explore R/C crawling without spending a ton of money, the Danchee RidgeRunner RTR looks like a hot prospect. While not a traditional crawling rig, the RidgeRunner boasts a motor-on-axle (MOA) setup with four-wheel-steer and portal axles to let you pick trickier lines to test this rig’s capabilities.
In addition to these chassis features, the RidgeRock also includes a dig feature, letting you lock the rear wheels to pivot and improve your turning radius. Similar in features to the Danchee Ridgerock, the RidgeRunner leans toward the scale R/C crowd with its pickup-style body and scale-inspired wheels and tires.
