The good folks at XRay have officially announced the 2027 edition of their 1/10 XT2 RWD Stadium Truck Kit. The high-end 2027 XT2 has been upgraded to be even faster on-track, while also being easier to dial-in. Here’s the highlights-
* New 2.5mm chassis with optimized flex characteristics
* Widened rear chassis section increases stability
* New flat chassis brace provides tunable flex control
* Longer side guards extend flex control & add new fan mount position
* New 3G gearbox updated for the lower chassis brace
* Lowered motor mount reduces CG
* Lighter differential outdrives reduce rotational mass
* Aluminum rear roll center holder adds third roll center position
* Solid front suspension arms – medium
* Solid rear suspension arms – medium
* 3.5mm turnbuckles increase durability & rigidity
* 5.4mm ball ends improve strength & reliability
* 5.4mm composite ball joints
* New front & rear carbon shock towers with lower mounting geometry
* New shocks springs compatible with XB2
* Shorter shock bodies & shafts reduce mass & lower CG
* +2mm shock ball joints increase droop adjustment range
* -2mm & -4mm spring collars expand ride height adjustment options
